1) DEATH PARADE 

Are you one of those who are fascinated by the idea of suffering and imagine what life after death would be? If yes, then this is the best anime for you. It is set in a world where there is no heaven or hell, but rather a bar to decide your fate in the afterlife. This story gives us a completely different take on Death, Afterlife and Suffering through it's dark and mysterious story. 

I personally think that even after having such a great story and characters, this anime is still very unknown to the vast anime fandom, and maybe it's reason is that anime fans just like a typical shonen hero who (in every story) fights the villains and wins in the end and thus gives us a happy story. But people like us who want something dark and realistic get a little bored by watching the same bullshit again and again. 

So, i personally recommend you watching this story because it gives a very creative and realistic perspective on various important questions of our life and this anime definitely deserves to watched and popularised.

2) KAIBA 

This is definitely one the most, if not the most, weird anime ever. I mean you will feel so weird in episode with it's complicated yet amusing story. It is set in a world where everyone is immortal and people can save their memories in chips. The most ironic thing is that even though no one dies and memories can be stored forever but we see this story from the point of view of someone who has no memories.

This anime deserves to popularised  and loved by fans because each episode brings you to a different adventure and leaves you with a deep thought provoking idea.

3) TOKYO MAGNITUDE 8.0 

Since i started watching animes, i always thought that maybe animes are made for kids only and that is why they have such a stupid story generally. But what changed my mind was this Masterpiece which was the first realistic anime that i saw. 

The story is about a young girl Mirai, who along with her younger brother has to survive in Magnitude 8.0 earthquake. This anime realistically shows us that tragedy that occurs when such natural disasters like earthquake occurs. This series humbles us by telling us our real status in front of mother nature and can nature destroy us just in a second. This animes covers so much in just 11 episodes and is a must watch anime.

Genre - Disaster, Realism

4)DENNOU COIL 

If you like slow stories and proper plot building with a big mystery, then this is the perfect anime for you. It gives us a ahead-of-it's time story which answers a very deep question of today's world and that is the question of augmented reality, that will virtual reality affect our real life.

The story basically goes with a bunch of kids who are trying to investigate the missing cases of several people. The story is very mysterious and the depth of characters and the mystery will be worth your time. So, if you have loved Death Note and other similar animes then give this a try and i promise you would be amazed at the mystery reveal!

5) SILVER SPOON 

A agriculture anime isn't the most exciting idea for typical shonen fans who are so used to watching bullshit only because  of action and good graphics. But this story, although very weird is a very interesting story as you will see.

This story doesn't has action or any hidden philosophy but it just gives us the idea of a daily life and hardships that people suffer while doing agriculture. Well, it doesn't sound a very profound idea but this comedic series will be worth your  time and it will give you a realistic glimpse of the agriculture world for sure.
