AGNIHOTRI'S TRILOGY : STORIES FROM HISTORY OF INDIA
Hey readers, Welcome back!
Unlike our other articles related to anime or web series, today we are here to talk about an ongoing trilogy of movies by one of the most renowned director of Bollywood Mr. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. He is in the journey of making a trilogy series related to incidents from history of India which he otherwise names as stories relating to “RIGHT TO TRUTH”, “RIGHT TO JUSTICE”, “RIGHT TO LIFE”.
Talking about the trilogy, these incidents were being presented by three movies that are :-
• Tashkent Files.
• The Kashmir Files.
• Delhi Files.
1) Tashkent Files
We have a question for you, "Do you remember anything hearing the word Tashkent?" If your answer is 'Yes' then Congratulations, you are one of the few who remember their history. But if your answer is No then don’t worry it’s not a big deal we will provide you with the history of Tashkent.
This is the place where our second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri died, and after such a long time still his death is a mystery. And so this film, here, only talks about that mystery And questions our government about hiding the cause of death of Shastri ji. By doing that, our government has done violation of a fictitious right that every citizen of India has and that is "RIGHT TO TRUTH".
This movie perfectly portrays the situation of the world at that time as it was, a time of cold war and also recalls the situation of India in that extreme situation.
This film raises questions about the death mystery of the man behind reforms like green revolution, white revolution, etc in India. The man behind the slogan "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisaan". This picture raises important questions with clear proofs that how our government tried to erases this mans story from our history. It shows us so many copies of RTIs, book references, dual medical report, and much more.
If you want to know about Indian history then you must watch this movie and it’s our guarantee that after watching this masterpiece, you will also get some questions about the death mystery of Shastri ji in your mind.
Talking about the rating of this film, it is rated 8.5 in IMDb.
2) The Kashmir Files
The next in the trilogy is THE KASHMIR FILES. Many of you know the subject matter of THE KASHMIR FILES as it was in discussion before it’s release in 2022. But for those who does not know about the Kashmir Files, it is the story related to the genocide of the pandits of the Kashmir valley by the so called Kashmiri Muslims only because they are not of the same religion.
Due to which many of the Kashmiri Pandit families become orphans, many were forced to leave their houses and properties and India or Indian government has forgotten about that incident or maybe they don't want to address this issue. Agnihotri depicted this story under his second right of the series called "RIGHT TO JUSTICE" by trying to portray the injustice happened to the Kashmiri Hindus in the previous decades. Like his previous film, here also you see many paper cuttings, articles, references from many books and quotes by many victims and officials which will make a great impact to your mind and make you think about the poor situation of Kashmiri Pandits.
You will see the political scenario of that time and many real life persons in form of fictitious characters. If you are not aware of the Kashmiri genocide until now then its our humble recommendation to you that you should watch this movie at least once. We can bet that you will be amazed. This is that kind of movie where you will not feel disconnected at any moment in any scene, it will make you feel emotional and you will sympathize with the victims of Kashmiri Genocide.
Talking about the rating, it is rated 8.3 in IMDb.
3) Delhi Files
Till here, you've got a good idea about the trilogy of Agnihotri. The next movie in the Series is DELHI FILES. This movie talks about the 'RIGHT TO LIFE'. According to some sources, it will portray the riots of Delhi. In the poster launched for this picture, you can see a child wearing turban under the national emblem of India in a red colored picture.
From this poster, many people thinks that the film will talk about the Sikh riots. This conception is getting stronger because this film is going to be produced in two languages as in Hindi and Punjabi.
This film will be the last and boldest film of the Agnihotri’s Film Trilogy. In a latest interview with lallantop, Agnihotri told that it will be the last of the trio but it will be the boldest of them all.
This trio is produced under the banner of The Smiling Buddha, a renowned production house of South industry.
So, Dear Readers please let us know your thoughts on this trilogy and what do you think of these movies, Should this be the end of the series or shall Vivek will have to continue this series with some other stories.
Thank you.
