TOP 3 MUST WATCH INDIAN THRILLER WEB SERIES (YOU WON'T REGRET WATCHING IT)
Web series are now a new mode of finding entertainment, in the shades of corona when lockdown is implemented and cinema halls are closed. People discovered web series on various OTT Platforms as a new way of enjoying their day with their family.
In that period, many have found the hidden Gold of entertainment industry and so have I bring you with some of the Best Indian webseries that you will never regret watching. So, here's the list :-
1) THE FAMILY MAN
Hey there, if you are a person who like to watch crime, thriller movies then this is the perfect series for you.
The series is written and directed by the renowned duo of Raj and D.K. they are the makers of incredible films like Stree and Go Goa Gone. Family Man features brilliant actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja and Shreya Dhanwanthary. The Music for this series is given by Sacchin Jigar .
Talking about the storyline, the story revolves around the Protagonist Srikant Tiwari (played by Manoj Bajpayee). Srikant is a middle class family man who secretly work as a intelligence officer in a fictitious branch of NIA (National Intelligence Agency). No one of his family members knows about his job, they only think that he does a desk job in a government office. So, in this story you see how he manages his family along with his secret dangerous job.
According to sources, this series is planned for three seasons, of which 1st season was released on 20 September 2019 and it’s 2nd season was released on 4 June 2021 in the OTT Platform Amazon Prime.
In it’s 2nd season you see Samantha Ruth Raghu as the main Antagonist. This series is full of suspense and thrill, you don’t get bored through out the series. While talking about the suspense and thriller side, we can not ignore it’s humorous side. You will see many sarcastic scenes throughout the series which will make you laugh. This mix of humor in-between balances both the emotions of the audience.

The series is rated 8.9/10 in IMDb and 4.5 in Google ratings. The Family Man received eleven Filmfare OTT Awards, Five Asian Academy Creative Award and Two Awards at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

2) SPECIAL OPS
In my list of series, the next series that i recommend you is Special OPS. This is also a Crime-thriller series created and directed by Neeraj Pandey with Shivam Nair as a co- Director, produced under Friday Storyteller, a division of his production house. This series is created for the OTT Platform Disney+ Hotstar.
The story revolves around the Protagonist Himmat Singh Played by the legend Key key Menon. Himmat singh is a member of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) who forms a team of Five person to takedown a man who is the main antagonist, who is behind many Terror attacks in India .
Till now two seasons of the series is been launched in hotstar, which are season 1 (Six terror attacks, one mastermind) in which the story revolves through Iqlakh Khan and Five team members chasing him as per the direction of Himmat singh. While in season 1.5 (Himmat’s story) you see how Himmat Singh come to this position, his whole story from joining RAW to chasing a mastermind is depicted in this season in an investigation style of his friend Abbas Shaikh played by Vinay Pathak you can also see some instances of Himmat’s love life and how he killed his love!
This series is rated 8.8/10 in IMDb ratings and this series has been nominated in 9 categories of FilmFare OTT awards out of which it won 3 Awards.
3) DELHI CRIME
Last but not the least, Delhi Crime is the third webseries we recoomend you to watch. Is there anyone here who isn't aware of the rape case of 2012 of Delhi also known as Delhi Gang Rape Case. So, here in this web series of Netflix written and directed by Rechie Mehta, starring Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang. The story is based on aftermath of the Delhi gang-rape case of 2012. This story revolves around the Deputy commissioner of police Vartika Chaturvedi, who have tasked her people to find and arrest the culprits responsible for rape and death of the victim.
If you want to understand the whole situation from the eye of the director we suggest you to watch this series on Netflix.
Talking about it’s rating although we don’t need to show you but it is 8.5 rated in IMDb. This series has won four awards on Asian Academy Creative Award. Three awards in iReel and one International Emmy Awards.
